It enables the user to create its own website and all the related applications on one platform such as mobile apps, forms, and online communities. Adobe Experience Manager target right customer with right opportunity at right time through their personalized campaigns and help to achieve the business target.

History of AEM

Adobe Experience Manager was formerly known as CQ5(Day Communiqué). A Swiss company Day Software in early 2000 started the CQ5 with the name “Communique” commonly know as “CQ”.

Adobe System in 2010 acquired Day Software company and named it AEM. AEM have multiple version 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 and 6.4 (In-progress).

Why use AEM?

AEM is one of the fastest-growing web platforms today and is used majorly by many corporations. It provides the user with lots of basic components to create a website with some other interesting features like storing the content data from social media sites such as Twitter or Instagram. The integration of Livefyre with AEM gives you an extra advantage as you get lots of extra components which make your site super attractive for your customers. How it works?

AEM is basically a cloud based client-server system for building enterprise grade websites and applications. The running AEM server is normally referred to as an instance. There are basically two instances of the AEM server viz. author and publish instance. Almost all the website administration work is done on the author instance. And for the end-user to see your content you need to publish the page, which is referred as publish instance.

The system includes an integrated web-based development environment like CRXDE Lite (this has its own UI, the functionality of which is similar to the Classic UI used for authoring and administering).

What’s the Bottom Line?

AEM is one of the best tools to build a consistent product with the dynamically changing market which also helps you create your own personal site to meet your customer requirement. It is a complete out-of-the-box solution which gives you the flexibility to change your courses quickly and can take your marketing strategy implementation time down to mere few hours from weeks and months.
